This networking event took place on 30th June at the Sky Lounge of the University of Vienna. The event was organized by the Technology Transfer Office with the aim of fostering meaningful cooperations between researchers from the University of Vienna and industry partners, enabling the translation of research results obtained at the University into pharmaceutical applications.
As Ronald Maier, Vice-Rector for Digitalisation and Knowledge Transfer, put it in his welcoming words, pharmaceutical research holds a paramount importance in addressing the significant societal questions within the realm of global health.Innovative solutions are needed and the potential of joint initiatives, projects and ventures must be explored together. The University of Vienna is home to a multitude of researchers who delve into innovative domains and is committed to increasing its focus on societal relevance. We want to “Create a future were academia and industry work hand in hand to shape a healthier and more prosperous world.”
The event gathered researchers from 7 different faculties of the University of Vienna and 11 partners: BioNTech, Boehringer Ingelheim, EIT Health Austria, Gradient Zero, INiTS, Pfizer, Proxygen, Roche, Takeda, Wings4innovation and Xista Sciences Ventures.
